Summer residential with Carmen Joanne Ablack - Embodied Femininity. An advanced workshop for Female Gestalt and/or Body Psychotherapy.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
We would like to invite you to a 4-day residential workshop organized in the “Bliss House” in Kraków. This meeting will focus us on embodying and working on deep connection with the surrounding ecosystem and nature. It will also encourage us to experience topics that are familiar and unfamiliar, new and inspiring, an awakening within ourselves, in relationship to each other and to the living world around us.
This meeting will give us the opportunity to experience the essence of spontaneity and our ability to surrender to what calls to us, what we desire in connection with physicality and nature.
We will work with our own embodiment, which is always a relational process in the environment in which we exist. The goal is to experience ourselves as part of a greater whole at the edge of contact in nature.
This experience will be related to attentiveness to the group that is forming, to being together, and to the hidden and overt processes that each of us experiences. Participants will be invited to share deeply and transparently the personal and group processes taking place as much as they are ready to do so. The workshop will be a profound experience aimed at wandering within oneself. The idea is also to be together and disengage from everyday life to be able to access one's depth and sense of being in the world around us.
Knowing Carmen, we can expect elements of Gestalt therapy, Body Psychotherapy, elements of shamanic practices.
LEADER:
Carmen Joanne Ablack is UKCP & EABP accredited, she is current President of the European Association for Body Psychotherapy. She teaches & supervises in the UK & Europe. Carmen is a senior faculty member at the Gestalt Centre in London. She works with groups, couples & other intimate relationships, individuals & organisations on equalities, diversity, inclusion, intersectionality, mental health areas & wellbeing. Her approach can broadly be described as embodied, relational and integrative. She has several articles and book chapters published on these and other themes.

We will start the workshop on Thursday, 27.08 at 10 am and end on Sunday, 30.08 at 5 pm.

CERTIFICATE: Each participant will receive a certificate confirming their participation in the workshop
TRANSLATION: The workshop will be translated from English into Polish.

This workshop is aimed at female Gestalt, Body Psychotherapy and counselling psychotherapists with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with clients under regular supervision and a minimum of 3 years after completing training;
PRICE: The total cost of the residential workshop is 800 EURO. The price includes: 3 nights' accommodation in a 4- or 5-bed room, vegetarian food (if necessary, other food possible for an extra charge), workshop costs. The price does not include transportation to the training site.
The cost of residential is payable in 2 parts: a non-refundable deposit of 300 EUR payable within 7 days of sending the completed registration form (link to the form below). The place on the list of participants is determined by the order of payment of the deposit. 2nd installment - 510 EURO, payable by 15.07.2026.
